With the advent of Fourth Industrial Revolution1 each aspect of our life and work is rapidly becoming digitalized and automated. Intelligent systems and appliances are now being used as major tools for strategic planning and decision making across the globe. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and E-Governance2 are being introduced in public sector at a fast pace. This is changing the work output and performance efficiency of public sector organizations including police in many ways. Police have globally benefitted from ICT by running systems related to record management, crime investigation, complaint filing and efficient resource allocation over the last few decades. With the integration of Artificial Intelligence3 in the work sphere of public organizations the whole culture of police work is undergoing a colossal change.
